Terms & Conditions for Tournament Registration

​By registering for the Terra Cotta Community Centre Golf Tournament on September 5, 2025, all participants agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Non-Refundable Registration

    • All registration fees are final. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or inclement weather unless the event is canceled by the organizers.

  2. Team Composition

    • Each team must consist of four (4) players. Any changes to the registered team must be communicated to event organizers at least 72 hours before the tournament date.

  3. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

    • Participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with playing golf, including but not limited to injuries from errant golf balls, slips, trips, falls, or adverse weather conditions.

    • The Terra Cotta Community Centre Golf Tournament organizers, the Terra Cotta Community Centre, the hosting golf course, and any affiliated entities are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or lost property during the event.

  4. Code of Conduct

    • Participants are expected to adhere to golf course etiquette, respect fellow golfers and staff, and conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner.

    • Any misconduct, including excessive intoxication, disruptive behavior, or damage to property, may result in disqualification and removal from the event without a refund.

  5. Inclement Weather Policy

    • The tournament will proceed rain or shine unless the course is deemed unplayable by golf course management. In such cases, organizers will communicate any schedule adjustments or alternative arrangements.

  6. Tournament Format & Rules

    • The tournament will follow a 9-hole, shotgun start format with specific rules outlined on the day of play.

    • Various contests will take place, including Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and a Putting Contest. Rules for each game will be provided before the tournament begins.

  7. Alcohol & Liability

    • Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Any alcohol must be purchased from the course and consumed responsibly.

    • Participants acknowledge that they are responsible for their own actions and any consequences arising from alcohol consumption.

  8. Photo & Media Release

    • By participating, players consent to photography and videography for promotional purposes. If a participant does not wish to be photographed, they must notify the event organizers before the tournament.
