As we reflect on 2025, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible year we shared together at the Terra Cotta Community Centre. It has been a year shaped by meaningful gatherings, neighbourly spirit, and countless moments that remind us why this historic hall remains the heart of our community.
From lively seasonal celebrations to our sold-out golf tournament, from plant swaps and educational workshops to potlucks, yoga classes, concerts, and family events, this year brought people of all ages together in ways both joyful and memorable. We decorated trees, carved pumpkins, sang karaoke, learned about our local environment, shared meals, welcomed guest speakers, and strengthened our sense of belonging at every turn. Each event reflected the mission we hold dear: to preserve our historic space, celebrate community connection, and support arts, culture, fitness, and education for all.
None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary support of our neighbours, families, local businesses, donors, and event sponsors. Your participation, whether attending, volunteering, contributing financially, or sharing your talents, has made 2025 one of our strongest years yet. Funds raised throughout the year have gone directly toward preserving the Terra Cotta Community Centre, improving the longevity of our building, and expanding the programs and gatherings that make this place so special.
This year reminded us that a community centre is far more than a building, it is a living space shaped by the people who fill it with energy, generosity, and care. Thank you for helping us protect this cherished place and for ensuring it continues to thrive for future generations.
